I had stopped doing presentations because they were boring me (being too factual) and I did not feel the clients were getting any worth from them either. To me the presentations which I and even my competitors were doing were information dumps or a product push. I felt that if I could not provide a seminar with impact, I would prefer not to do any which I have not in four years. I saw you as an opportunity. After meeting with you a couple of times and hearing how you work, I saw your program as a systematic approach to helping me develop my business through prospecting and referral generating. I knew I needed a system and you seemed to have it.
I decided to hire you after meeting you a couple of times, both on the phone and in person and attending a PC meeting to see how that part of the program worked. I then asked a couple of references that I could speak with. When I called these people I asked very pointed questions about the processes and systems that they had learned. I was also interested in finding out about what the payback was for the investments. They all said that there was a big commitment required, but that the payback was tremendous. Two of them also said they were now in their second year of the program, which impressed me as to the value they were receiving.

It made me feel like crap. If I did not have a solution my business would have continued along the way it was and would likely start to decrease, my frustration would have grown and worsened.

You will recall that we discussed the fact that my income was getting higher and higher and the thought of figuring out how to continue this trend of increasing my income was worrying me. I didn’t know how to grow my income. I had thought of referrals, but I was uncomfortable with this and never asked for them. I had also been doing seminars which sometimes were successful, but other times they weren’t.

Bearing in mind that prior to taking your training we would average almost no referrals when we asked. We are now averaging about five referrals from the people that agree to refer. We received 21 referrals in the last 3 weeks alone! Because we are getting to “no” quicker with people who won’t be doing business with us, we are no longer wasting time trying to get them to buy or doing a full financial plan for them. Paul has also taught me techniques to use with my existing clients to let me know what their expectations are and ensure that I am meeting them. Because we are now doing the behaviours that we know will result in new business, I no longer stay awake at night worrying about where the next piece of business will come from. I now spend more quality time with my family without having to worry about my business. Our client relationships have improved considerably.

However, since October of last year, as a result of following your system, I have received 35 referrals which resulted in ten new clients.
